VR GP Vacancy in Greater Western Sydney Area NSW

Busy group practice near Parramatta is looking for a full -time or part -time VR GP to replace an existing GP who is moving to another area. Existing solid patient base awaiting new doctor from day one. 

ABOUT THE PRACTICE:

• Fully accredited  bulk-billing practice, established in 2016
• Seeing over 600 patients per week.
• State-of-art facilities, modern, fully air-conditioned
• The practice is owned by four health professionals
• 8 consulting rooms, a 2 -bed treatment room, pathology collection room, nurses room, administration office and large tea room.
• Treatment room equipped with Immunisation fridge, oxygen, CPR, wound dressing trolley and equipment, ear syringe equipment, ECG, spirometry, iron infusion equipment, doppler and other standard equipment.
• The practice uses Best Practice software and it is 100% paperless.
• Practice manager and 6 administration staff onsite
• Full time RN that work in the treatment room providing complete nurse coverage. (The nurse is also trained to complete GPMP's/TCAs/Health Assessments/Cycle of Care etc.)
• The practice is adjacent to a busy local pharmacy
• Physiotherapist and a podiatrist.
• Visiting audiologist that comes to the practice regularly.
• Pathology collection service at the practice (Clinical Laboratories). Imaging is located directly behind the practice.
• Large migrant population, with many nationalities represented. The area also has a large amount of chronic disease patients.

ABOUT THE ROLE: 

Remuneration:  $150 per hour guaranteed or 75% of billings, whichever is higher.
Flexible hours and leave arrangements.
No onerous contracts.

Working hours:
8am to 10pm Monday to Friday
8am to 6pm Saturday and Sunday

Most days, there are 2 -3 GPs onsite, and standard appointments are 15 minutes (doctors can arrange their appointments as they deem fit.)
The doctors provide skin cancer screening and preventative health checks including womens'/mens'/kids health checks.


LOCATION:

Practice is located couple of kms from Parramatta. There is a major shopping centre 2 minutes walk from the practice. 


WHO CAN APPLY:

​​​​​​The practice would like to attract a GP that is interested in family health. An interest in women's health would be advantageous. There is a lack of skin cancer services in the area and this would be an excellent opportunity for a new doctor.
