VR GP Vacancy in Cairns QLD

A well-established mixed billing clinic looking for permanent GP/s on part-time and full-time basis to help meet patient demand.  Would consider locums for minimum of 2 months , as the clinic is forced to turn large number of patients away daily.

ABOUT THE PRACTICE: 

• Currently have 5 GP’s, FT 2-3 nurses ( according to number of Drs onsite), and 2-3 receptionists during every shift
• Rooms: 10 consult rooms, 1 treatment room (3 beds) - 1 operation/procedure room (1bed)
• Patient Demographic: Mixed, situated in the centre of Cairns 
• Software: Best Practice Support
• Services: In house Allied Health (trading as Northcare) – psychology, physio, dietician, exercise physiology. In house occupational health (Trading as Jobfit), so there is availability for occ health work. Molescan Clinic onsite as well; so, there is opportunity to do skin work, too.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Working hours:
Monday – Friday 8 am-6 pm
Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays 9 am -5 pm
 Weekends are equally shared out between staff, averaging 1 weekend per month roughly

Expected hours of work:
Full or Part time work available.

Remuneration: 
Excellent remuneration, with sign on bonus for full-time at least 1 year contract.
Guarantee  provided for the first 3 months to build up patient load, although patient base will await prospective doctor/s.
