VR GP Opportunity Available in Cairns QLD

A Medical Centre located on the Far North Coast of QLD in Cairns is seeking a VR GP to join this well established team of GPs.

Must be an unrestricted VR General Practitioner.

GP interested in providing high quality medicine. Special interests in skin cancer, cosmetics, occupational health and women’s health highly regarded.
GPs with an interest in training GP Registrars highly regarded.
This is a collegiate organisation with a strong focus on GP education. Voluntary attendance at twice weekly training sessions with GP Supervisors and Registrars is offered. 

GPs are fully supported with well trained nursing staff however must be comfortable working independently.

Clinic description: Bulk billing. Bulk billing: general appointments. High demand appointments, Skin clinic/ Cosmetics/Occ. health.

Opening hours: 8.00am to 6pm, Monday to Friday and 9 am to 5 pm Saturday and Sundays. Roster is flexible in these hours and will be negotiable with the doctor.

Average GP billings $10,000-$15,000 weekly. Skin Cancer/ Cosmetic doctors can bill much higher.

Remuneration: 65% for weekdays and 70% for weekends. Sign up incentives are available
​Monday to Friday work with some weekend rotation required.
