VR GP Locum Position at Lismore NSW

Southern Cross University GP clinic is looking for a VR GP to provide locum coverage for the period of 5 weeks. Will also consider permanent applicants, so this is a good opportunity to trial the clinic for doctors seeking long-term employment in the area. 

ABOUT THE ROLE: 

Dates:
2 January to 7 February 2020

Rate of Pay:
75% of Billings, excellent income earning potential 

Working Hours:
Monday – Friday 9.00 - 5.00 preferred (or 8.30-4.30) – 1 hour lunch
No weekend work, after-hours or on-call required 


ABOUT THE PRACTICE:

• Mixed billing clinic
• AGPAL accredited
• Located in a purpose-built facility within the university campus at Lismore.
• Servicing the needs of the local community as well as the student and staff body of the university.
• 2 GPs and 3 RNs, supported by a Clinic Manager and a strong administrative team of seven.
• 10/15 min appointments
• Utilising Best Practice software

In addition to the full range of general practice services, the clinic runs and supports a comprehensive listing of Allied Health streams, via private practitioners and student- led clinics.
This wholistic approach to patient care extends to services in the fields of Exercise Physiology and Osteopathy. A physiotherapist, dietician, a Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Mental Health Social Worker also are available.
