The Opportunity:

Looking to build your own patient base without taking on the cost and commitment of setting up an entire practice?

I’m working with an established multidisciplinary clinic in Western Sydney that’s looking to introduce medical consulting services alongside its existing allied health offering.

The opportunity would suit an Occupational Health Physician, with GPs also welcome to enquire if they’re interested in combining general practice with occupational health services.
 

What Could You Offer?

Depending on your qualifications, experience and interests, services could include:

• Occupational health assessments and pre-employment medicals

• Fitness-for-work assessments

• Employer-requested medical examinations

• General consultations and routine health checks for adults and children

• Other occupational health services within your scope of practice

How the Arrangement Works:

This is an independent room-rental arrangement, giving you control over your practice and the income you generate.

• Room rental: $260 per day + GST

• Your billings: Retain 100% of your consultation billings, less room rent and your own business expenses

• Booking arrangements and admin support: Provided by the clinic

• Clinical setup: Use the existing facilities, with any additional medical equipment required to be arranged by you

An Opportunity to Build Something:

The clinic currently sees around 200 patients per week across its existing allied health services, providing an established healthcare setting to work from.

Demand for GP and occupational health consultations will need to be developed, so this would suit someone comfortable building their own caseload and establishing relationships with patients and local employers.
