Non-VR GP Vacancy at Rushworth VIC

This practice is located in a rural area only 2 hours North of Melbourne and only 30 mins from Shepparton. It is a DWS area and would suit a GP with General Registration that is looking at working towards their Fellowship.
 

About the practice: 

• Turnover of patients which ranges from 45-65 per day. Average 50.
• Excellent remuneration with lots of care plans and heavy item numbers
• There is currently one full time GP that is FRACGP so would be able to provide supervision / mentoring to a non-VR GP for the purposes of RLRP.

 

About the role: 
 

Working hours:

Monday to Friday 8 am - 5 pm.
Weekends are optional.

 

• Local nursing home with few patients in to be attended regularly.
• VMO rights available to apply for admission in local hospital – up to you to do the extra VMO.
• No after-hours (optional)
• No emergency or on call (local hospital has no emergency service)
• The practice is a collection centre for blood, so need to collect blood by the doctor on daily basis.
•  Nearest hospitals are Shepparton, Bendigo...they are 40 minutes away...Kayabram about 20 min drive.
•  Two consulting roomsPsychologist visit 3-4 days fortnightly.
• Procedures and paperwork are charged out of pocket fees.
• Fully equipped practice, with ultrasound portable, ICU monitor, spirometer etc

 
Percentage fees as flexible...65-70%
