Locum Position Available at Gundagai, NSW

Dates:
September to 31 January 2020 - slightly flexible on dates

Rate of Pay:
65% of billings or $150/hr - GP role
VMO is additional income - $1700/day (negotiable).

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday 830 am to 5 pm

About the Role:

• Mixed Billing Practice
• RRMA 5, RA 3, MMM 5
• DPA Area
• Currently employing  2 Registrars and 3 Fellowed GP’s (part time and full time)
• VMO  @ the hospital -   Part of on call roster - 1 in 4 weekend  and 1 night per week
• 2 Practice Nurses per day all RN’s
• Practice Software is Genie platform - Apple computer systems
• VR GPs are onsite and are able to provide supervision and mentoring if the GP requires access to the rural workforce programs.

About the Location:
Gundagai is located off the Hume Highway, 50 mins from Wagga Wagga,  1.5 hours from Canberra and 3 hours travel time from Sydney in the heart of the Riverina.   Located on the banks of the Murrumbidgee River, with a high school and 2 primary schools in the township.  This is a stand alone practice, catering for a surrounding population of approx. 5,000 people.  Gundagai has a Hospital with 12 Acute beds and 18 aged care beds.  An aged hostel known as Uralba Hostel houses 18 beds.
