Locum O & G Consultant/GP VMO O & G

We are seeking the services of an O & G Consultant or a GP VMO O & G for locum coverage in a rural NSW hospital.

Date

1700 11th September to 0700 28th September 2020

Rate

$2000 per day inclusive of on-call & call back pro-rated plus travel & accommodation

Hospital and location

A level 3 rural hospital providing care to over 11,300 patients every year.   The Health Campus has 81 beds, 10 of which are used for voluntary mental health patients.

Services include a 24 hour Emergency Department that is staffed by local GP VMOs supplemented by career medical officers.   Surgical services include general, gynaecology, ophthalmology, orthopaedics, dental and endoscopies, day surgery, ophthalmology, orthopaedics,  endoscopies & colonoscopies, mental health, urology, and elective and emergency caesarean sections.

The region is known for it's appealing mix of beautiful coastline and charming country towns. The town is an important rural centre that’s close to both untouched hinterland and golden beaches.  Follow winding walking trails or visit the vibrant riverside markets featuring produce and products from the surrounding districts.  As the heart of the valley food bowl, you will be spoilt for choice for cafes and restaurants using wonderful local produce. Fish, surf, snorkel or play golf on the 6-hole golf course as you watch migrating whales and frolicking dolphins.
