Locum GP/ED - Pilbara Region WA

We are seeking a VR GP with Emergency experience for a locum in the Pilbara region of WA.  Come and experience the outback!

Dates:

4th to 19th March 2023

About the position:
Expected to see 4-5 patients per hour 
Monday - Friday 9am to 12.30pm and 2pm-5.30pm
When on call on the weekends, doctors are expected to run a Saturday morning clinic from 9am -12noon.
The on-call roster is 1 in 2 to 3 depending on the availability of doctors.
The on-call is generally quiet, with most of the work being done by phone; however, you may be required for about 3-4 hours per weekend day.
Follow ups and paperwork is expected to be completed in business hours or doctor’s own time.
Telstra mobile phone is required, car is provided. Economy flights are reimbursed and a house with pool is provided for the time of the locum.

Remuneration:
65% of Surgery billings plus
hospital service: a flat rate of $1500 per weekday and $2000 per day on weekend for Hospital on-call on call and 65% for all w/comp or private patients (tourists) seen in the hospital

The doctor must have good GP skills and in addition must also have ED Skills or recent ED experience to be credentialed with WACHS
