GP/VMO Vacancy in rural west VIC

About the Role:
This is a Private Billing Practice and has a vacancy for one full time or one part time general practitioner. The practice has VMO rights to the local Health Service but no procedural skills are required. 
The successful general practitioner will be provided with a detailed orientation and induction package and ongoing mentorship is available. The general practitioner will also be provided with an orientation to the local Health Service. The general practitioner and family will be well supported to settle into the community and to access schools, accommodation, community organisations, sporting and special interest groups and social opportunities. 

Rate of Pay / Package:
The successful GPs terms of engagement, for a contractor, are negotiable. 
The Practitioner will earn 
 65% to 70% of Income collected depending upon qualifications and experience 
 100% of SIPs 
 Minimum guaranteed income for the first 3 months 
Visiting Medical Officer 
The general practitioner will be supported to be credentialed to obtain visiting medical rights to the local Health Service. 
On Call 
The practitioner has the opportunity to share in the on roster with the other general practitioners. 
The local Health Service pays on general practitioners who are on call the following: 
 Week day: $300 
 Weekend: $400 
 Public Holiday: $500 

About the Practice:
The Practice  is an accredited, computerised practice with 3 consulting rooms and a treatment room where services such as minor surgery, suturing, skins screenings and vaccinations are performed. Two doctors are supported by a practice manager, practice nurse, administration team and the satellite practice of 3 general practitioners. They have a sister clinic  located 30 km away. The sister clinic has 3 general practitioners which shares workloads, rosters, on call and visiting medical rights.

Working Hours:
Practice hours are Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.30pm.
After hours on call is shared with all doctors in both clinics.

Qualifications:
General or Specialist Registration with AHPRA
If the GP is Generally Registered and requires enrolment on RLRP, they must be able to access the 4 years on the program and have their GP assessment from the RACGP (for new applicants).
Sponsorship is available.
