About the Role

⭐ The Opportunity:

We're working with an established medical group in Regional WA looking for GPs who enjoy a bit of variety.

The role is primarily general practice, with some rural emergency/ED work as part of the position.

Importantly, this isn't an ED-heavy job. The communities are small and ED presentations are generally light, meaning most of your working week remains focused on GP.

It's a particularly good fit for a doctor who enjoys rural medicine, wants to broaden their experience and likes the idea of having GP and emergency work under the one roof.

🏥 Practice Highlights:

✔ Established regional medical group
✔ 70% of billings
✔ Experienced rural nursing team
✔ Private accommodation provided exclusively for the doctor and family
✔ Car provided
✔ Modern GP facilities
✔ Broad general practice workload
✔ Rural emergency medicine exposure
✔ Skin procedures, chronic disease, women's health and preventative care
✔ Pathology and allied health services
✔ Established local patient base
✔ Supportive rural communities

The practices are also accredited training sites, providing opportunities across FSP, ACRRM and RVTS pathways.

💰 What's On Offer:

✔ 70% billings
✔ Additional incentives for ED work
✔ Annual WACHS retainer for eligible VR GPs
✔ Additional payments for ED phone calls and presentations
✔ Private house provided
✔ Car provided
✔ Initial guarantee available
✔ Strong overall earning potential
✔ Support with credentialing

👨‍⚕️ Who This Suits:

VR GPs looking for a rural generalist-style role with strong earning potential and variety.

Also suitable for non-VR GPs who meet the credentialing requirements and are looking for an established rural opportunity with training pathways available.

You will need:

✔ Recent ED experience - SHO/HO level or equivalent within the last couple of years
✔ ALS2 qualification
✔ Ability to obtain the required ED credentialing before commencement

🌾 A Different Kind of GP Role

If you're a GP who doesn't mind getting involved in a bit of emergency medicine — but doesn't want to spend your whole week in an ED — this could be a very good fit.

You get an established GP workload, rural variety, your own house and car, and additional earning opportunities through the ED component.
