GP VMO Vacancy in Lockhart NSW

Busy rural practice providing comprehensive care for a community which extends for about 50  kilometres in any direction are looking for a GP to commence beginning of 2020, to replace a GP who will be moving.

About the practice:

• Mixed-billings practice
• The Practice trains GP registrars and students and is suitable for a GP working towards Fellowship
• AGPAL accredited
• Wheelchair access to the site

About the role:
The local district hospital provides  six acute beds with an Accident & Emergency area, to handle minor and serious emergencies. The hospital also provides the long term aged care for the district and the 16 beds are usually in high demand. A well provisioned palliative care room complements the comprehensive care provided at the facility. There is a 23 bed low level aged care facility.
There is a VMO position with 1:3 on call.

Location:
The practice is situated in a small town in. Riverina Region of NSW, located 3 hour drive west from Canberra. 

Working hours:
Mon - Fri 9 - 5.30

Rate of pay:
60-70% of Billings (DOE)
Up to 80% for VMO work
