GP Vacancy on the Sunshine Coast QLD

Well-established mixed-billing practice is looking for GP/s to take over the work and patient following from their retiring GPs. Full-time permanent commitment will be preferred, but 6-month locums will also be taken into consideration.

ABOUT THE PRACTICE:

• 4GPs,  1RN & 2 ENs on site
• Practice software utilised: Best Practice
• The practice is one of the oldest practices in the region having operated for almost 30 years, and as such has a significant and loyal patient base. Its founders and long-standing GPs are transitioning into retirement and wish to transfer their existing patient base to the next generation of GPs.
• The clinic is well supported with several nurses, reception and experienced management team.
• The area being a main regional hub supported by a major tertiary hospital has a surrounding array of allied health and integrated community services, along with adjacent pathology providers, late-night pharmacies, and as well as Sunshine Coast Radiology. 
• An ideal workplace for a busy generalist who wishes to see and engage in the breadth of General Practice work while being amongst a wonderful community who rely on and value their GPs.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Working days and hours:
Mon-Fri 8am – 6pm

Rate of pay offered for a permanent VR GP:
$10K sign on bonus, $10K relocation, 6 weeks initial guarantee of $143/hour incl. GST and 65% of billings.
6-month locum –  relocation fee negotiable

LOCATION: 

Clinic is situated in close proximity to a large acute regional public teaching hospital serving the Sunshine Coast ,with a catchment of over 100,000 people. Just over 1 hr drive from Brisbane, in one of the main administrative centres and hubs for the entire Sunshine Coast Region and only 20 minutes from the beach.
