GP Vacancy in the Upper Hunter Region NSW

Well-established and busy mixed-billed practice is looking for a GP to help meet patient demand in the area. Full-time permanent position preferred, parti-time position of 3-4 days/week may be considered.
Both VR and Non-VR GPs are encouraged to apply. Minimum General Registration required of applicants.
Non -VR applicants will be assisted and supervised by highly experienced and supportive Practice Principal.

VMO position available, as well, for interested applicants. 

Please note: This is NOT a DPA position.


ABOUT THE PRACTICE:

• Mixed-billed practice
• 2 GPs and 3 nurses onsite
• Allied Health practitioners visiting on regular basis and include: Podiatrist, Psychologist, Diabetes Educator, Hearing Specialist

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Rate of pay:

Non-VR GPs 60-65% DOE
VR GPs 65%
No initial hourly guarantee provided, as applicants can expect to be booked out from the outset
(As an indication of the income earning potential, in average, existing doctors see up to 40 patients/day.)

LOCATION:

The practice is situated in a picturesque small town in the Upper Hunter Regional, approximately 3 hours drive from Sydney and 1,5 hour drive from Newcastle Airport. It's  a heritage town surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and champion horse studs, with national parks within easy reach and many, many other tourist attractions - guaranteed to cater for every taste.
