GP Vacancy in Cairns QLD

 Mixed-billing practice in Cairns looking for a FTE GP, to help meet increasing patient demand. Would consider long-term locums, from 8 weeks plus.


ABOUT THE PRACTICE:  

• Currently have 6 GP’s, but there are 10 consult rooms 
• Culturally diverse patient base, indigenous, families, male and female of all ages, occupational health, travel medicine.
• Treatment Rooms: 2
• Software: Best Practice
• Full nursing and admin staff support
• Mentoring or Supervision: Yes
• GPTQ: Training Practice site

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Opening hours:
Monday to Friday : 08:00am to 17:00pm
Sat: 08:00 am to 12.00 pm .

 Expected hours of work: Full or part time/ no on-call, afterhours is monitored by an afterhours nurse.

Remuneration:
Excellent remuneration, plus a sign on bonus for full-time with a minimum 1 year contract.
Guarantee provided for the first 3 months to build up patient load, although their books will be full from day one.
