GP Position in Regional North East VIC

ABOUT THE ROLE:
GP owned, private billing and teaching practice (GP Registrar and Year 3 Med Students).
Currently there are 5 GPs (2 females, 3 males).
Multiple special interests (Paediatrics, geriatrics, lactation, palliative medicine and O&G).The practice is mainly appointment based but they also provide on the day walk-in services.
The lead clinicians are experienced GP Supervisors, medical educators & college examiners . Because of their vast experience you will have the opportunity to grow and build your skills with clinical support and mentoring.
Nurse initiated health assessments, care plans and medicals. They have a treatment room for skin and minor operations.
Non corporate environment, family oriented.
Medical Director/Practsoft clinical software .

DPA location and MMM 3 (regional area). This practice is able to support a non-VR GP with General Registration on workforce programs such as MDRAP and PEP. There are VR GPs onsite to provide supervision for these programs.

RATE OF PAY:
65% of Billings. Part Time or Full Time role available.

ABOUT THE LOCATION:
The location is in the middle of the health district (in front of local public hospital). They are supported by multiple pathology and imaging providers close-by as well as various other medical specialties (physicians, orthopaedics, general surgery, paediatrics, O&G, geriatrics, & others) and allied health providers.
This town is the gateway for North East Victoria (on the Hume freeway) with plenty of outdoor activities to do in the city and surrounds (ski fields, water ski, kayaking, fishing, bush walking, 4WD, mountain biking, rock climbing, etc) as well as entertainment (cinema, wineries, breweries, regular cultural events, concerts, etc) and excellent education (high quality primary and secondary schools, TAFE, CSU).
