GP or PGY5+ Medical Practitioner - Vaccination Medical Lead

We are seeking the services of a GP or PGY5+ Medical Practitioner to act as the Vaccination Medical Lead in a regional Victorian hospital.

Shift times Monday's to Saturdays 0800 - 1630, with finish time on Thursdays 1830.

Applicants require training in Advanced Life Support, Anaphylaxis & COVID vaccination.

The COVID-19 Vaccination Program will be delivered across the region to protect the community, consistent with Department of Health policy and guidelines, as part of the Local Public Health Unit.

The Medical Lead in the COVID-19 Vaccination Program will work closely with the nursing, support and administrative teams, under the direction of the Program Manager and Clinical Director to ensure that the program is run safely and efficiently.  The Vaccination Hub will be located at an off-site facility.  Patients requiring further medical attention will need to be transported by ambulance.

The Medical Lead will provide advice, counselling, support and education to consumers and clinical staff; including administering COVID-19 vaccines as part of the national roll-out.

Rate

$150 p/hour plus accommodation and travel allowance of $100
