GP or GP ED Vacancy in Laverton WA

Full time GP is needed to work as a solo practitioner in the remote town of Laverton in WA. and share roster with 2-3 other GPs (possibly 1-2 weeks/month). 
This position requires a Specialist GP or Generally Registered GP with at least 2 years of ED experience in Australia (FACEM is desirable but not required).
GP + VMO work at the local hospital which is a 2 bed hospital. Fly in / fly out services available from Perth either commercial or private chartered flights.

The Permanent GP is expected to work 40 weeks per year. The remaining 12 weeks are covered by a local community health centre.

Hours of work are: 8:30am – 4:30pm Mon-Fri in the GP Practice and Hospital ED when needed, On-call, after hours and weekends.
Accommodation is available and is a  four bedroom, fully furnished house. There is a vehicle available and the travel time between the house and the Hospital is less than five minutes. You must have a valid Driver’s licence to be able to use the vehicle.

REMMUNERATION

• Daily rate/On call: $320 per any 24 hr day on call in town 
• Rate: Locum: $150 per hour or 70% of daily takings 
• Permanent: 80% of daily takings. 
• Flights: Between Perth and Laverton only for Locums 
• SIP: 100% of all SIP payments 
• PIP: $100/4hr session mentoring a medical student
