GP Needed in the Hunter Region NSW

About the role:

• The successful applicant will be working in a practice located in the Cessnock CBD, and close to the Cessnock Hospital
• DWS Position
• The practice currently has two GPs, staff nurses and administration staff. Variety of Allied Health practitioners visit on a weekly basis
• Modern purpose built surgery with four consultation rooms and two treatment rooms 
• Busy bulk-billing practice
• Fully computerised and fully equipped
• AGPAL accredited

Pay Rate:

• Pay rate will be a minimum of 65 percent of billings with some additional benefits
• Hourly guarantee for the first 6 weeks
• Remuneration will be as per experience and is negotiable

Qualifications:

• It would be desirable to have Fellowship/Membership in General Practice/ Family Medicine recognised by the RACGP or ACCRM; although not manadatory
• It would be desirable for the applicant to possess the experience to be able to apply for VMO status at Cessnock Hospital.
• The practice is in a "District of Workforce Shortage"
• Applicants may be eligible for 3GA placement and OMPS placement
