GP Locum Position in Coonamble NSW

An Aboriginal Medical Service Coonamble NSW are currently seeking a GP Locum to work as a GP or GP VMO.

About the Practice:
This is an Aboriginal Medical Service which is very well supported by the local hospital and doctors,  as well as allied health staff.  3.5 GPs, 4 nurses, 2 AHWs, psychologist, social worker. Other allied health people visit regularly and include optometrist, podiatrist.

About the Role:
Dates:  from 25 March to 14 July 2019
It would be extremely beneficial to have the Locum able to participate as VMO at the local hospital, for a higher rate.
If providing VMO services, you would share in a rotating on call roster with other doctors, which would include some weekends, as well as working in the clinic Monday to Friday. 
Subsidy to cover flights to and from practice included, as well as a car and accommodation. 

Rate of Pay:
GP only - $1500/day
GP VMO - $1800/day (for days you work as a VMO)
VMO shifts on weekends are paid at $1500/day

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm
On call roster 1:3

Who can apply:

• GPs with General or Specialist Registration with AHPRA
• If applying for the VMO role, min of 2 years of Australian Emergency Experience
