Female VR GP Needed in Northeast Suburbs of Melbourne

Busy bulk-billed practice in City of Whittlesea area are looking for a VR GP to help meet patient demand. New doctor will tap into the solid base and be busy from day one.

 Ideally, looking for a permanent female GP to commence ASAP, but would consider a permanent male GP, or a locum GP with good time-management skills for the period from January - July 2020. 

 

Please note: This is not a DPA location. 

 

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Working hours:
Mon - Fri 9 till 5
No on-call requirements and no weekend work
No nursing home visits

Rate of pay:
For permanent GPs: 70% or $150/hour for the initial 3 months (whichever is greater)
For locum GPs:  75% or 150 $/hour for the initial 3 months (whichever is greater); thereafter 75% for the rest of the 6 month locum

ABOUT THE PRACTICE:

• 3 GPs (other female doctor will be taking a long leave from Dec 2019 till July 2020), 1 full -time practice nurse and receptionists.
• Purpose-built facility with 8 consulting rooms , pathology lab, skin cancer and cosmetic clinic and spacious treatment room, along large staff kitchen amenities and meeting room with presentation equipment. 
• Practice provides all aspects of general practice: women and men health, child health, mental health and, including management of chronic diseases.
• Physiotherapist commencing soon.
• Practice utilises Best practice software.

 

LOCATION:

The clinic is situated in a suburb 28 km north-east from Melbourne's Central Business District.
